Chelsea Made Contact To Sign Star Striker

Chelsea Made Contact To Sign Star Striker

Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata appeared destined to play in the premier league next season after emerging as a target for both Chelsea and Manchester United this summer.

But Man Utd is bringing in Romelu Lukaku already, and Chelsea have been forced to assess their options after losing the Belgian to their rival and have revived their interest in Morata again.

Jose Mourinho is set to reunite with Lukaku at Old Trafford and is in pole position for the player's signature. And his former club are now eyeing both Andrea Belotti and Morata ahead of a busy campaign next season.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Stamford Bridge club have made contact in the last few hours  for the Spaniard.

The Spain international seem to be on the verge of sealing a move to Manchester United last week before Jose Mourinho's side turned their attention to Everton forward Romelu Lukaku.

Jose Mourinho sold the Belgium international to Everton back in 2014 when he was still at Chelsea, and he has gone on to become one of the best strikers in the premier league. Last season in the English top flight, he played 37 games for Ronald Koeman's side and scored 25 goals with 6 assists.

Champions League winners Real Madrid are asking something close to £80m for Alvaro, so the blues will have to splash the cash to secure his services.

Talented Star Almost Done With Chelsea Summer Switch

Talented Star Almost Done With Chelsea Summer Switch

Alex Sandro appears to be destined to play in the premier league next season, having been heavily linked with a move to join premier league champions Chelsea this summer.

And in a new development, according to reports coming from Italy, the Stamford Bridge club are ‘a step away’ from signing the Samba star from Juve.

La Stampa reported that a £60 million offer has been submitted by the west London club while Sandro has been offered a contract.

It is understood that the leftback is one of the blues priority targets but his Turin club do not want to give in as it would send out a signal of weakness.

Sandro's club are said to have attempted to counter the blues approach by offering a deal of their own worth £4.4m a season, but it is understood that the Brazilian star has not yet responded and is said to be attracted to the idea of moving to west London.

Alex has also told his representatives that he wants to leave Turin this summer and so, the Serie A champions are already lining up replacements for him and are currently exploring two options.

They intend bringing back Leonardo Spinazzola from his loan at Atalanta, and have been linked with Man United's Matteo Darmian.

Gary Cahill revealed that Tottenham striker Harry Kane is the best goal-scorer that he has faced this season

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has heaped lots of praise on Tottenham Hotspur star striker Harry Kane despite the England forward being a direct rival of the blues in the title race.

Cahill has been a vital part of Chelsea’s back three this current campaign after forming an impressive partnership with the duo of Cesar Azpilicueta and David Luiz.

The Chelsea defender is national team-mates with Kane, although both of them were not able to help their country make a humiliating exit in the European championship last summer.

23-year-old Kane has scored 19 times and has provided four assists in 26 appearances in the Premier League this season.

Kane has went ahead to outscored Chelsea’s talented goal-scorer Diego Costa after Costa netted his 17th strike of the season in Chelsea's 2-1 win against West Ham at London Stadium.

And Cahill speaking to talkSPORT about the strength of goal-scorers in the Premier League, singled out Kane for special praise.

Cahill portrayed Kane as a premier league striker who defenders should be wary of, emphasising that Kane is an incredible finisher.

As things stands now, Chelsea are 10 points clear of second-placed Tottenham Hotspur at the top of the table and are firm favourites to win the title this season.

Paul Ince is backing Marcus Rashford to shine against league leaders Chelsea in the FA Cup quarter-final at Stamford Bridge

Former Manchester United captain Paul Ince is quite confident that United star player Marcus Rashford could shine up front in the absence of Swede star Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Manchester United’s game against Chelsea in the FA Cup last eight.

The Old Trafford club are looking to win their second major trophy under new Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho after he was named as Louis van Gaal’s successor at the end of the 2015-16 season.

The red devils were dramatic 3-2 victors against Southampton thanks to Ibrahimovic’s header in the 87th minute last month at Wembley.

Since Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s free transfer to Old Trafford from Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain last summer, Rashford has struggled to secure regular first-team football.

And Ince speaking to Paddy Power about the FA Cup quarter-final at Stamford Bridge on Monday night, put forward his case for Rashford to start at west London.

He stated that even though Zlatan will be missed, it is time for Rashford to shine

Manchester United are currently in the sixth position in the Premier League table and are 17 points behind leaders Chelsea.

The Old Trafford outfit lost 4-0 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League last October.

Jamie Redknapp singles out Chelsea talented midfielder N'Golo Kante for special praise

Former Liverpool star player Jamie Redknapp has supported Eden Hazard’s claim that playing with Chelsea talented midfielder N’Golo Kante is like playing with twins.

Kante has been a key cog in Antonio Conte’s team this season so far as Chelsea moved 10 points clear of second-placed Tottenham in the title race.

Chelsea signed the France international in a 34 million deal from reigning Premier League champions Leicester City in last summer’s transfer window following the appointment of Italian boss Antonio Conte as their new manager.

Kante has established an impressive partnership with Nemanja Matic in the heart of the blues side, although former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has usurped the Serbian in recent weeks.

Former Chelsea Star Sends Message To Chelsea Boss: This Arsenal Player Is Perfect For Chelsea

Pat Nevin urges Antonio Conte to persuade Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal to Chelsea.

According to former Chelsea winger Pat Nevin, premier league table leaders Chelsea should try to sign Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez to complete their devastating attacking line-up.

Alexis Sanchez is facing an uncertain future at Arsenal presently after failing to agree a new deal with the Emirate club despite he holding talks with his side.

The Chile international seemed to have become increasingly disillusioned with life at Arsenal and was even caught on camera berating his team-mates during their 5-1 defeat to Bayern Munich last month.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger left him out of his Arsenal team to face Liverpool  on Saturday, before the Chilean played the second half of the 3-1 defeat at Anfield.

Arsene Wenger has however denied reports of a training ground disagreement with the former Barcelona man but the player is being heavily linked with a summer transfer out of north London.

And Nevin speaking to Irish radio station Newstalk about Sanchez, attested that he believes quite well that the Chile star would be a great addition to Conte’s side.

Nevin is of the opinion that if one is looking at Sanchez in regards to goal-scoring and goal-creating, the forward can get in any other teams. He said Chelsea could put him on the right wing with Hazard on the left wing and Diego Costa up front - which will definitely be a superb line.
